While Huawei is busy rolling out the HarmonyOS in China, some of the users have been reporting bugs in its previous EMUI 10.1 software. According to some Nova 7i users, a new bug has been discovered to scramble the user interface and some other features.
In contrast, users were not able to control, enable, or disable the quick settings switches. And the already enabled switch remained on after taping it several times. The system seems lagging while changing the quick settings toggles.

Moreover, some of the services icons such as location freezes on the taskbar. A major issue found on the software was the UI clampdown. When a user tries to swipe through the home screen, the UI clams down in half of the widget placed on the home screen.
These aforementioned issues were reported after the recent software upgrade and probably the next firmware coming for these devices will solve them and the users should wait for it to arrive.
The EMUI 10.1 is the previous software that was launched before EMUI 11 and includes a bunch of feature and UI changes. It brought the Always-on display feature for the first time and several soft animations as well.
The Nova 7i didn’t receive the EMUI 11 update even being compatible and remained on the older version. While the Chinese version of Nova 7i launched as Nova 6 SE is included in the HarmonyOS 2 eligible device list with the beta activity carried out.
Being a Nova 7i user if you too are facing the same issue then report that us in the comments below not just these mentioned, if there are any other bugs on your device then do share. This might help you get that fixed in no time.
