At the start of 2021, Huawei is still releasing November 2020 security updates for some smartphones. Now according to the latest news (Via – Huawei Central), Huawei P20 users are grabbing a new update with security improvements.
These devices are currently running on EMUI 10 and getting November 2020 security patch that brings the latest security to the device to keep it safe against threats. The security updates are important for your devices as they enhance device performance and keep it up to date.
Users can identify this latest firmware from the EMUI 10 version 10.0.0.185 which is upgraded from 10.0.0.182 and comes with an update size of 275MB. It is currently rolling out in Europe and will soon expand to other regions as well. Also, the firmware is releasing in batches so it may take some time to reach your device.

Download via Settings:
- Open Settings
- Click on the System & updates
- Open Software update
- Tap on Check for updates option
- If an update is available, click on Download and install
- After installation Reboot the device
Download via Support app:
- Open the Support app on your device
- Go to the Service tab
- Click on the update button
- Tap on Check for update option
- If an update is available, click on Download and install
- After installation Reboot the device
