Huawei recently announced the EMUI 10.1 beta timeline for its smartphones. But it seems like the company is preparing the next major OS update.

The new update for Huawei Members adds “Optimizations for EMUI 11.0 style adaptation”, this may be related to its user interface and app compatibility. However, mentioning the changes related to EMUI 11 so early seems a bit of odd but nothing is certain at the moment.

Huawei will introduce the EMUI 11 with Huawei Mate 40 series and the company likely to conduct EMUI 11 Beta testing earlier than the last year. The first batch of testing devices will include Huawei P40 series.
Unlike 2019, Huawei Developer Conference could also move to an early date in August but it’s yet to confirm.
