Huawei has started releasing a new February 2022 HarmonyOS security patch for Enjoy 20 Pro 5G smartphone. The update comes with HarmonyOS version 2.0.0.222, which is the follow-up 2.0.0.221 version for enhanced system security. And the update is rolling in batches therefore it may take some time to reach you.

To be mentioned, there is no other changes have been made to the software system besides system security. But, the installation of the regular security update is a mandatory part, which is beneficial for user privacy.
Points to take care about:
Please charge your smartphone at least 30% and above. Maintain sufficient storage and make sure your internet connection doesn’t get disconnected. Also, make a backup of your important data to prevent data loss. However, the update won’t delete your phone’s data.
How to update:
- Go to Settings
- Tap on system & updates
- Software updates
- Tap on check for updates, and wait for the update to appear on the screen
- Then, hit the download and install option
Alternatively, go to the My Huawei app, if not installed download it from AppGallery. Open the update section and follow on-screen steps to download and install the latest firmware update.
