The Huawei P30 series was launched pre-packed with Android 9 based EMUI 9.0 and it was then updated to Android 10 which is based on EMUI 10. It also received the EMUI 10.1 upgrade. Now, these devices are currently operating on the latest EMUI 11.
The EMUI 11 update was also rolled out for the Nova 5 Pro users that brings the latest features to the device. This smartphone was initially launched with EMUI 9.1 and later on, it received EMUI 10 and 10.1 versions.
As per the latest information, Huawei is now releasing a new update for the P30 and Nova 5 Pro users which brings February 2021 security patch for improved system security and device stability. This update is rolling out for three devices which are Huawei P30, P30 Pro, and Nova 5 Pro.

The latest update for the Huawei Nova 5 Pro can be identified with EMUI 11 version 11.0.0.137/138 which is upgraded from version 11.0.0.135/136. While for the Huawei P30 and P30 Pro, the latest version is EMUI 11.0.0.137 upgraded from 11.0.0.136.
Besides the security improvements, there are no other new features added via this latest firmware update. It is important to note that the update is currently rolling out in batches so it may take some time to reach your device. If you have received the update then here are the steps to download.
How to update:
Download via Settings:
- Open Settings
- Click on the System & Updates
- Open Software update
- Tap on Check for updates option
- If an update is available, click on Download and install
- After installation Reboot the device

- Open the Support app on your device
- Go to the Service tab
- Click on the update button
- Tap on Check for update option
- If an update is available, click on Download and install
- After installation Reboot the device
