February 2022 HarmonyOS security patch released for Honor Play 4 Pro

Honor Play 4 Pro users have started receiving the latest HarmonyOS software update that brings February 2022 security improvements. This update boosts the system’s privacy and defends the device against critical threats.

Honor Play 4 Pro smartphone  receiving the upgraded HarmonyOS 2.0 version 2.0.0.222 updated from 2.0.0.220 in China. Following the changelog, we have not found any other optimizations or changes made to the system.

The February 2022 security update for Honor Play 4 Pro brings fixes for 42 CVEs found in the latest software system. Among them, 1 CVE is encountered in Kernel, 1 CVE in the system, and the rest 42 CVEs were fixed in the third-party libraries.

Aside from this, Huawei is going to conduct a press conference on March 16 in China. At the event, the company will reveal various new products including smartphones, tablets, and more. So, don’t forget to watch the live unveiling of new Huawei products.

How to update:

• Open phone’s setting
• Tap on system & updates
• Press download and install

Note: Your smartphone should be charged 30% and above. It has a sufficient amount of free storage to download the update package. Make sure that the network connection won’t be disconnected until the process gets done.
