February 2024 update released for Samsung Galaxy S23 in the US, wait for One UI 6.1 extends
Users of the Galaxy S23 series are eagerly waiting to enjoy the offerings of the latest software version, but currently, Samsung has only released the all-new February 2024 Android security update, while the wait for One UI 6.1 extends. Also, the update is live in the US and will expand to more region users soon.
As per the details, the owners of carrier-locked Samsung Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23+, and Galaxy S23 Ultra models will be able to determine the February 2024 security update through the One UI build version S911U1UES2BXAD, S916U1UES2BXAD, and S918U1UES2BXAD respectively in the US.
Furthermore, the update carries an installation package of 402.90MB, but it doesn’t contain any new features or major changes, Instead, the patch will work on the core functioning of the flagship models and resolve some common vulnerabilities and exposures, to provide users more protected, secured and optimized experience.
Also, the update is rolling out gradually, thus, it may take some time to cover all the eligible units. If you are operating the second-generation foldable then you can check for the latest update manually through Settings > Software Update > Download & Install
