Galaxy S10e, S10, and S10 Plus are getting a new software update with October patch

Earlier today, Samsung announced that it is starting the One UI 2 beta program (Android 10) for the Galaxy S10 series in Korea (via Samsung member app).

Ahead of the beta program, Samsung now rolling out a new software update for the Galaxy S10e, S10, and S10 Plus. The latest software update brings the October 2019 security patch. There could be minor bug fixes and few improvements included.

Samsung normally adds its own improvement on Google’s monthly security patch. Google has also detailed the latest security patch.

The software version of this update is G970FXXS3ASII, G973FXXS3ASII, and G975FXXS3ASII for the Galaxy S10e, S10, and S10 Plus respectively. The size of this update is approx. 114MB.

The October security patch is available over-the-air. If you want to check for the update manually, you can do this by heading into the Settings > Software update > Download and install.
