[Let you disable the fingerprint animation when unlocking] A new software update fixes the camera autofocus issue on the Galaxy S20
With the latest software update, Samsung now allows you to disable the fingerprint animation when unlocking on the Galaxy S20, S20+, and S20 Ultra. The latest update adds an option to disable the Fingerprint animation in the Fingerprint settings menu.
When you unlock the Galaxy S20 devices using the on-screen fingerprint reader, it shows a ripple effect on the screen. You can also find the same ripple effect on the Galaxy S10 and Galaxy Note 10.
Some users reported that the ripple effect makes the fingerprint unlocking a bit slow when compared to other devices.
