UPDATE 2: GALAXY S20 VERIZON
The US network carrier, Verizon, has now started sending July 2021 updates for the Galaxy S20 series. The software versions are:
- Galaxy S20 Ultra – G988USQU2DUG1
- Galaxy S20 Plus – G986USQU2DUG1
- Galaxy S20 5G UW – G981VSQU2DUG1
UPDATE 1: SAMSUNG GALAXY S20 FE
Samsung Galaxy S20 FE is now receiving the July 2021 security patch. As per the information, it comes with the software version G780FXXU4CUG1. This update is currently rolling out in Russia, Sri Lanka, and Nepal.

Samsung is continuously expanding the July 2021 security patch rollout to the flagship smartphones. The latest entry is the Galaxy S20 series.
Earlier today, Samsung sent the latest security patch to the Galaxy Note 10 series in select regions, and now the rollout has begun for the Galaxy S20 devices. Along with the July 2021 patch, the company brings something important for device performance.

To be specific about the changelog, the update brings improvements for the camera. It also enhanced the Quick Share feature for easy fire sharing between Galaxy devices. You can check the software versions and complete the changelog below.

This update comes with a hefty package size of more than 800MB. The changelog mentions improvements for the Camera performance for enhanced imaging experience.
At this moment, the update is limited to some regions but soon will be available in more regions. In addition, we don’t have details of the security patch, as the company didn’t yet reveal the information about the July 2021 security fixes.
