Galaxy S21 and Note 21 Ultra to launch with S Pen next year, Galaxy Z series to come in mainstream

Posted on

Samsung’s S Pen has been the biggest difference between the Galaxy S series and Note series, but not anymore.

According to a new report by the Korean media, Samsung is looking to integrate S Pen on the Galaxy S21 series. In addition, the company is also looking to keep the Galaxy Note 21 5G for at least one more year, due to launch in the second half of 2021.

The company isn’t suddenly killing the Galaxy Note series, but it is planing a sequential exit. This way, it can turn the Galaxy Note buyers into the Galaxy S series without many explanations.

In order to make this plan successful, the company will add the S Pen support to the Galaxy S21 5G, launch due in Q1 2021. As per the report by the media, the company will not include the S Pen with the Galaxy S21 5G, but instead, it will add support for the S Pen or as an optional accessory.

There’s no confirmation that the S Pen support will be limited to one variant of the Galaxy S21 or for the whole Galaxy S21 series.

You can blame the marvelous, new tech invention, the Galaxy Z Fold 2. According to some analysis, Samsung wants to integrate the S series and Note series in preparation for the future era of popularization of the foldable phones.

If Samsung wants to gain the trust from the Galaxy Note buyers, the next Galaxy S device must come with strong specs, similar user experience, and the more importantly better S Pen features.

As per the previous rumors, the company is looking to follow the similar footsteps like this year, it is expected to bring the three models, the Galaxy S21, S21+, and S21 Ultra. The company could also include the S Pen with the Galaxy S21 Ultra.
