Galaxy S22 camera features reaching more Samsung devices, starting with S21

Samsung has launched its flagship – Galaxy S22 with outstanding camera features to provide a next-level photography experience. Now, Samsung has started rolling out the Galaxy S22 smartphone’s camera features to older Galaxy models starting from the S21 series.

In the latest move, the Samsung Galaxy S21 series smartphones are receiving a new update in South Korea, which brings Galaxy S22 camera features including improved Night portraits, auto framing function, video call effect, and more.

On the flip side, Galaxy Note 20 and Galaxy S20 series devices are also in pipeline to get the Galaxy S22 camera features. However, the Korean tech maker has disclosed these camera features availability for a bunch of smartphones.

Improved/supported auto framing function:

  • Galaxy S21, Galaxy S21 FE, Z Fold 2, Fold 3, Z Flip & Flip 3

Improving the video call effect:

  •  Galaxy S20, S21, Note 20, S20 FE. S21 FE, Z Flip, Filp 3, Fold 2, Fold 3. Further, Galaxy S10, Note 10, Z Fold, S10 Lite & Note 10 Lite are scheduled for the second half of 2022.

Support for auto framing effects:

  • Galaxy S21, S21 FE, Z Flip, Flip 3, Fold 2 & Fold 3

Improved App Store Camera app quality:

  • Galaxy S21, S21 FE, Z Flip 3 & Fold 3
