Samsung is now rolling out the latest security patch to the Galaxy S9 series. The update brings the October 2019 security patch. This update is rolling out in Germany and expected to roll out in more regions very soon.

This update may contain fixes for a serious zero-day vulnerability that has been exploited by attackers. The Galaxy S9 series recently received the Night Mode feature on the T-Mobile network in the US.
If you want to check for the update manually you can do this by heading into the Settings > Software update > Download and install.
