Galaxy S9 and S9+ getting April 2020 security patch and more

Samsung is rolling out the April 2020 security patch for the Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+. With the latest security, it brings a number of other enhancements.

The latest software update improved the security for Samsung accounts and Camera Controller app for the Galaxy Watch (Which lets you control the phone’s camera on compatible Galaxy smartwatches). It also improves the stability of the Messages, Contacts, Gallery, and Camera apps.

The software version of this update is G960FXXU8DTC5 and G965FXXU8DTC5 for the Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+ respectively. The size of this update is nearly 400MB.

If you want to download the latest software update manually, just head into the device Settings app, then tap on the Software update menu and go for the Download and install option.
