After rolling out the September 2020 security patch to several smartphones, Samsung is now rolling out the latest patch to the Galaxy S9 series. The software version of this update is G960FXXSBETH2 and G965FXXSBETH2 for the Galaxy S9 and S9+ respectively. The update is currently rolling in European countries and should soon be available to other regions.
Sadly, the latest software update for the Galaxy S9 series doesn’t bring the expected One UI 2.5 update. The company may soon release a separate software update with the One UI 2.5 for the Galaxy S9 devices.

This could be the last major software update for the Galaxy S9 and S9+, as both of the devices are not eligible for the Samsung’s new 3 years software update policy.
To check the latest software update manually, just head into the device Settings, tap on the Software update menu and go for the Download and install option.
