Redmi Note 12 Pro users can now enjoy the optimizations and several significant features of the latest MIUI 14 software update in the Global market. The device debuted in March 2023, preinstalled with Android 11-based MIUI 13, and is now getting its first major update.
The update is currently rolling out for 4G models and will be available for the 5G variant as well in the coming days. Meanwhile, the Android 12-based MIUI 14 update for the Global users of Redmi Note 12 Pro 4G has arrived with build version V14.0.3.0.SHGMIXM and 4.0 package size.
This new version of MIUI is more swift and reliable as compared to MIUI 13 and it also uses less memory for a better interpretation. It further offers a bunch of elements including reimagined home screen, tabular icons, bigger folders, redefined personalization details, and an advanced settings menu.
Notably, the consumers of the Note 12 Pro 4G smartphone will not be able to experience the functionalities of the Android 13 operating system at this moment. But it may get that with the upcoming MIUI 15 software version, which will also come with lots of sophisticated elements.
Moving on, MIUI 14 also brings various significant elements like on-device privacy, connected devices, back-end optimizations, and much more. The June 2023 security patch is also included in the changelog of the latest MIUI version, for better security and stability of the system.
