Google has recently announced the January 2024 Android Feature drop for its Pixel devices which brings with it several new features and improvements to enhance the experience. After this feature drop the Pixel 8 Pro’s Thermometer app can now be used to record body temperature.
The January 2024 Android feature drop also fetches a new currently Galaxy S24 exclusive Circle to Search feature for the Pixel 8 and 8 Pro. In Messages, Google is rolling out Photomoji and Magic Compose out of beta. The latter feature on the Pixel 8 Pro will leverage the on-device Gemini Nano model.
Which will suggest replies and remix others in various styles: Remix, Excited, Chill, Shakespeare, Lyrical, Formal, or Short. Moving on, Google is also highlighting the rebrand of Nearby Share to Quick Share which will start rolling out for users soon and features a new icon and UI.
Last but not least, the latets feature drop also presents a seamless and exceptional Audio Switchin for the Pixel Watch and Pixel Watch 2. Like on phones and the Pixel Tablet, this lets the Pixel Buds Pro quickly connect when you start playing music on your wearable devices. However, the update has roll out has begun staring today and will reach every eligible model soon.
