Google Pixel 3a series gets June 2022 security patch in the US [Verizon]
Google rolled out the June 2022 security update with various known improvements and features for Pixel phones except for the Pixel 3a, and 3a XL. Now, the company has started releasing a new software update for the Pixel 3a and 3a XL.

The latest software update is said to bring the May 2022 security patch along with known bug fixes and improve overall system stability for these smartphones. It looks like the update is currently rolling out in the US on the Verizon network.
The OTA update comes with firmware version number SP2A.220505.006 for both Pixel 3a and Pixel 3a XL in the US. No updated weight has been mentioned at the moment.
If you own a Google Pixel 3a or Pixel 3a XL in the US, you may receive a notification, if not you can check it manually by going to Settings > System > System Update > Check for Updates.
Google launched the Pixel 3a and 3a XL with Android 9 Pie pre-installed in May 2019, the company released Android 10 a month after the Pixel 3a’s launch, and Google rolled out the stable Android 11 in 2020, and The devices are currently running on Android 12.
