Google Pixel 6 May 2022 update fixes dirty pipe and haptic feedback issues
May is ON and Google has started to roll out the latest May 2022 update for Pixel smartphones including Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro. Following the May 2022 Android Security Bulletin, it contains a fix for the CVE-2022-0847 vulnerability affecting Android devices.
To be mentioned, the CVE-2022-0847 vulnerability is also known as the Dirty Pipe issue that affected several Android devices. Further, the May 2022 update for Google Pixel 6 smartphones also brings fixes other bugs including unexpected display wakes up and haptic feedback.
Currently, the May 2022 update is released for Pixel 6 devices and will soon reach another Pixel phone in the coming days. If you are a Pixel 6 owner and facing the above-mentioned issues, we advise you to download and install the latest update ASAP.
