After releasing the major Android 13 stable update for Pixel devices, the company is now shifting its focus to the monthly security patches. Recently, Goolgle Pixel 6a smartphone users started grabbing the September 2022 Android security update globally.

The latest September 2022 security update brings fixes for the most prominent issue that Google Pixel 6a users were facing from last month’s update. Additionally, the update also brings some more improvements and optimizations for your device.
Users will be able to determine the update through version TP1A.220905.004.A2. It will solve the fingerprint sensor issue, that was arrived from August month patch and it made difficult for users to unlock their device or to set up Fingerprint Unlock.
Along with the Fingerprint sensor the update also bring improvements for more problems including the extensive battery drain from certain launcher background activities. Some fixes in the Bluetooth connectivity, and further fixes the issue occasionally causing notifications to appear truncated on the lock screen.
