Google has released the October 2019 Android Security Bulletin and patches. Google is now rolling out this latest software update to all the Pixel devices. Importantly, it also added the patch for the 0-day vulnerability.
The update also brings fixes for Media Framework, several System-level patches, a high priority kernel patch, and contributions from Qualcomm that directly affect phones using its hardware.
If you have a Pixel device you will receive the update soon. Google released the latest update with Gesture navigation stability improvements. It also added fixes for memory drain in UI, bootloop in certain device locale modes, and missing heads-up notifications.
It also added System stability improvements along with Wi-Fi stability improvements for all Pixel phones.
Specifically, for the Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL, there is a Fix for missing notifications in Pixel Stand mode, as well as Sensor calibration improvements.
