Honor 10 Lite gets a new software update with June 2020 security patch

Huawei is releasing the latest software update for Honor 10 Lite, which improves the system security via Android patches released in June 2020. Currently, this device runs on EMUI 10 (based on Android 10) and the company is expanding this major release in Europe.

The June 2020 security update installs Android patches from Huawei and Google, fixing different levels of exploits and issues within Huawei phones including 2 critical and 12 high levels of CVEs. There is no Medium and Low level of CVEs found.

SOFTWARE INFORMATION:

Honor 10 Lite is receiving the June security update with EMUI 10.0.0.202 (C675E17R1P3). Users will have to download a 97.92MB software package to install this update.

Important: Software version, size, and rollout availability could be different in different countries.

[Through Settings] Settings – System & updates – Software update – CHECK FOR UPDATES – Download and install.

[Through Support App] Open Support App – Service Tab – Update – CHECK FOR UPDATES – Download and install.
