Honor 9 Lite and 9N receiving June EMUI security update
Honor has started to rollout the June security update for Honor 9 Lite and Honor 9N, users. This update brings new smart features such as Huawei Assistant and Smart charge with the latest Android patches.
The June 2020 security update brings Android patches from Huawei and Google, fixing different levels of exploits and issues within Huawei phones including 2 critical and 12 high levels of CVEs. There is no Medium and Low level of CVEs found

SOFTWARE INFORMATION:
Honor 9 lite receiving June security update with EMUI 9.1.0.173 and an update package size of 381MB. On the other side, the Honor 9N users receiving the EMUI 9.1.0.149 and package size is 382MB.
Important: Software version, size, and rollout availability could be different in different countries.

HOW TO CHECK FOR UPDATE:
[Through Settings] Settings – System & updates – Software update – CHECK FOR UPDATES – Download and install.
[Through Support App] Open Support App – Service Tab – Update – CHECK FOR UPDATES – Download and install.
HONOR 9 LITE AND 9N CHANGELOG:
Huawei Assistant: Adds Huawei Assistant to the home screen providing smart reminders, personalized news, and other content relevant to you.
Battery: Adds the Smart Charge mode, reducing battery aging by adapting to your charging routine through AI learning and preventing the battery from being continuously charged when full. (This feature is enabled by default.)
Adds the Smart Battery Capacity feature, reducing battery aging by intelligently adjusting the battery capacity according to the battery status. Go to Settings > Battery > More battery settings and enable Smart Battery Capacity to try it out.
Security: Integrates Android security patches released in June 2020 for improved system security.
