September 2020 security update is rolling out for Honor 9A and Honor 9S users. This update mainly fixes a different level of exploits and issues including 3 critical and 19 high-level CVE’s.
Previously, Honor 10 Lite received the August 2020 security patch with the new Huawei Assistant which provides smart reminders, personalized new, and much more.

UPDATE INSTRUCTIONS:
Through Setting:
- Open Settings on your device
- Click on system & updates
- Click on the software update
- Check for updates
- Click on the download button
- Install updates
- After completion of the installation, the reboot option appears onscreen
- Reboot the device
Through Support app:
- Open the Support app on your device
- If not installed, download it from the play store
- Open service tab
- Tap on update
- Check for updates
- Click on the download button
