Huawei EMUI 11 and Magic UI 4 stable version released for these 10 devices

After the launch of EMUI 11and Magic UI 4, Huawei has started the beta testing program of its devices. The first batch of devices includes the flagship model of Huawei. After the beta testing, Huawei has already kicked off the stable EMUI 11 version for Huawei P40, Mate 30, and MatePad Pro series.

Moving forward, now Huawei has begun sending the EMUI 11 and Magic UI 4 stable version for the second batch of 10 devices including Huawei Nova 7, 7 Pro, 6, 6 5G, MatePad 10.8, Honor 30, 30 Pro, 30 Pro+, V30, and V30 Pro. However, the recruitment of these was started in September 2020.

The new EMUI 11/Magic UI 4 features smart multi-window, MeeTime, subtle effect, AI subtitle, Accessibility, super notepad, Hide display message, and more new exciting feature.

Smart Multi-Window: Multi-Window allows you to open apps in a floating window for multitasking. You can relocate the floating window to the desired location or minimize it to a floating bubble for easier access later.

Smoother animations: The brand new, intuitive animations throughout EMUI 11 create a smoother, more unified, and visually pleasing user experience when touching items or sliding on the screen. Long-take animations will be displayed when you are switching between albums in Gallery or Between year and month views in a calendar, for smoother visual effects.

MeeTime: Besides HD voice and video calls, MeeTime also you to send encrypted messages and animated emojis, skip forward and backward when playing voice messages, and send groups of images in one go.

Subtle effects: Whether you’re toggling switches on or off, subtle effects have been enhanced throughout the OS for greater visual satisfaction.

Super notepad: It allows you to scan documents. You can also quickly identify and extract text from images, edit the text, export it in multiple file formats, and share it

AI subtitle: AI Subtitles support converting audio to text for songs, videos, or speech picked up by your microphone even when the sound volume is turned off, as well as translating English content into Chinese in real-time.

Gallery: On the discover tab in Gallery, you can create video stories by applying preset templates with special effects and background music. The video editing features are optimized providing you with more instructions on how to use the timeline and edit options.

Accessibility: Fully optimize the visual accessibility function and optimize the design for multiple common scenarios to provide you with a more user-friendly experience.

System-level translation: Translate screen allows you to touch and hold the text on a foreign language web page with one finger, or on a picture with two fingers, to have the text translated. You can also adjust the area of the screen to be translated.

Multitasking card fuzzy: Add to the payment protection center application and application lock application Automatically blur or lock and hide the multitasking interface to protect your private data

Hide Display Message: When screencasting in mobile mode, enable the message do not disturb function, which allows the phone’s incoming calls and message banner notifications to be displayed only on the phone interface.

UPDATE INSTRUCTIONS:

Through Setting:

  1. Open Settings in your device
  2. Click on system & updates
  3. Click on the software update
  4. Check for updates
  5. Click on the download button
  6. Install updates
  7. After completion of the installation, the reboot option appears on the screen
  8. Reboot the device

Through Support app:

  1. Open Support app on your device
  2. If not installed, download it from the Play store
  3. Open service tab
  4. Tap on update
  5. Check for updates
  6. Click on the download button
  7. Install updates
  8. After completion of the installation, the reboot option appears onscreen
  9. Reboot the device
