Huawei Mate Xs is a second-gen foldable phone launched with an external folding design. The Mate Xs global users run on EMUI 11 and receive regular security patches. While the Chinese counterpart of this device is eligible to upgrade to HarmonyOS 2.0.
However, Huawei has already delivered June 2021 security update for the Mate X2 device owners. Now, this security patch is making its way to more Mate Xs devices in the global markets. According to the changelog, it installs June 2021 security patch and brings upgraded EMUI 11 version 11.0.0.186 (C432E2R2P1).
Additionally, this firmware update comes with an update size of around 300MB and fixes for 49 vulnerabilities including 28 medium and 21 high levels of CVEs for improved system security.
