Huawei is currently busy with the HarmonyOS 2.0, its self-developed operating system officially launched on June 02. Soon after that, the select Huawei devices also got a chance to test beta for this new OS.
Meanwhile, along with the new operating system, the company is also pushing regular security updates for its eligible devices. And following the current month, June 2021 security patch is the latest which is yet to roll out.
According to the information, Huawei has released the June 2021 security update details that will make it to Huawei devices in the coming days. However, it’s not just the June 2021 update, alongside, the Chinese OEM is also releasing May and April 2021 patch for its remaining smartphones and tablets.

HarmonyOS rollout in progress…
HarmonyOS 2.0 is the major upgrade and all eyes of the users are on this one. Huawei is gearing up with the beta program as the company has recently added more smartphones to the list for public beta testing. At the time of launch, the company announced the HarmonyOS upgrade plan for 100 old devices.
The new HarmonyOS is the latest innovation of Huawei in the software segment. It comes with a bunch of features such as Smart Folder, Huawei Share, Supermodel which allows you to control a bunch of devices using a single super device.
Just after the announcement, Huawei opened the beta program for its topmost 18 devices. And further, it also added some more Nova series phones to the list for getting the HarmonyOS 2.0 upgrade. The Chinese OEM also aims to install HarmonyOS in 300 million devices in 2021.
