In the previous week, Huawei debuted two new smartphones in the existing Huawei Mate 40 series including the Huawei Mate 40E and a cheaper version of Mate 40 RS Porsche Design in China. Recently, the Mate 40E is on its first sale with the starting price of 4,599 yuan (706USD).
Now, according to the latest information, the company has started releasing a new update for Huawei Mate 40, Mate 40 Pro, and Mate 40 RS which improves their third-party app compatibility and installs new system optimizations for better performance.
Apart from this, no more change has been noted by the update. It is worth noting that this update is rolling out for Chinese models, and may also be released for global models.

Talking about the Mate 40E, the phone is almost the same as the standard Mate 40, with a punch-hole display, 8GB of RAM, and a triple-camera system, but it is powered by the Kirin 990E processor instead of the Kirin 9000E in the vanilla Mate 40. Compared with Mate 40 mobile phones, the price is affordable.
