New software is rolling out for the Huawei Mate 40 devices running EMUI 11 in the global markets bring May 2021 security patch. This makes the device more secure than before by fixing different levels of exploits and as per Huawei’s security bulletin, it includes 3 critical, 10 high, and 4 medium levels of CVEs.

As per the info, this software update for the Mate 40 Pro carries EMUI 11 version 11.0.0.188 upgraded from EMUI 11.0.0.188 upgraded from EMUI 11.0.0.178 in Europe. It comes with an update package of 243MB.
