Huawei MatePad Pro users getting stable EMUI 11 update

Huawei has launched the latest EMUI 11 OS skin based on Android 10 at HDC 2020, followed by the EMUI 11 beta testing for its flagship devices. The first batch of eligible EMUI 11 testing devices comes from Huawei P40, Mate 30, and MatePad Pro series.

After sending the first and second beta software updates for Huawei MatePad Pro. Now, Huawei has released the stable EMUI 11 for the MatePad Pro series in China. Moreover, EMUI 11 stable version is also released of Huawei P40 and Mate 30 series users and the company will soon send EMUI 11 stable upgrade for more Huawei smartphones

EMUI 11 BETA MODELS (GETTING UPDATE):

  • Huawei MatePad Pro
  • Huawei MatePad Pro 5G

EMUI 11 VERSION:

  • Huawei MatePad Pro series beta tester upgraded to EMUI 11.0.0.145 from EMUI 11.0.0.126
  • Huawei MatePad Pro series EMUI 10.1 users upgraded to EMUI 11.0.0.145 from EMUI 10.1.0.137/151

*Currently, this update is rolling out in China

POINTS TO KEEP IN MIND BEFORE UPDATE:

  • The update will not erase any data.
  • Update size may vary from region to region.
  • Maintain enough storage and battery.
  • If possible, connect to WiFi.

UPDATE INSTRUCTIONS:

Through Setting:

  1. Open Settings on your device
  2. Click on system & updates
  3. Click on the software update
  4. Check for updates
  5. Click on the download button
  6. Install updates
  7. After completion of the installation, the reboot option appears on the screen
  8. Reboot the device

Through Support app:

  1. Open Support app on your device
  2. If not installed, download it from the Play Store
  3. Open service tab
  4. Tap on update
  5. Check for updates
  6. Click on the download button
  7. Install updates
  8. After completion of the installation, the reboot option appears on the screen
  9. Reboot the device
