Huawei has started to rollout a new software update for the 10.1-inch display tablet – Huawei MediaPad M5 Lite. The update installs the latest Android patch released in June 2020 to enhance system security.

The June 2020 security update brings Android patches from Huawei and Google, fixing different levels of exploits and issues within Huawei phones including 2 critical and 12 high levels of CVEs. There is no Medium and Low level of CVEs found.

This new software update for Huawei MediaPad M5 Lite comes with EMUI 8.0.0.297 upgrading from EMUI 8.0.0.279. Users will have to download a 111MB software package to install this update.
