Huawei is pushing a new software update for Huawei Nova 4e, that installs new security patches released in September 2020 and brings improvements for system security to provide a better user experience.
Previously, the other members of the Nova series that include Nova 5, 5 Pro, 5i, 5i Pro, 5z, and 5T received the same security patch which fixes 3 critical and 19 high-level CVE’s.

UPDATE INSTRUCTIONS:
Through Setting:
- Open Settings on your device.
- Click on system & updates.
- Click on the software update.
- Check for update
- Click on the download button.
- Install updates
- After completion of the installation, the reboot option appears on the screen.
- Reboot the device.
Through Support app:
- Open the Support app on your device.
- If not installed, download it from the Play store.
- Open service tab.
- Tap on update.
- Check for updates
- Click on the download button.
- Install updates
- After completion of the installation, the reboot option appears on the screen.
