New update for Huawei P Smart Pro brings March 2021 security patch

Huawei unveiled its new smartphone, Huawei P Smart Pro with a pop-up selfie camera, full view display, Kirin 710F, EMUI 9.1, powerful battery, and more.

After launch, Huawei provided a major upgrade to the EMUI 10 for the P Smart Pro. However, the hardware and software on this device cannot run on EMUI 10.1 and above.

Now, Huawei has started to rollout a new software update for the smartphone, which installs a security patch released in March 2021 to improve system security.

HOW TO CHECK FOR UPDATE:

[Through Settings] Settings – System & updates – Software update – CHECK FOR UPDATES – Download and install.

[Through Support App] Open Support App – Service Tab – Update – CHECK FOR UPDATES – Download and install.
