Huawei Watch GT 3 is receiving firmware version 2.1.0.258 that installs new software features as well as optimizations to improve the working of this device. Still, it’s not a usual set of changes that this watch update will install on your smartwatch.

Huawei Watch GT 3 new update adds the data display menu in the training settings, which you can access during the workout via data widgets. Other than this, the rollout will give you a new feature called intensity screen, which is also accessible via the display menu and allow you to view the heart rate and pace zones during a workout.

Optimizations:

This firmware also has a lot of optimizations for features such as swimming lane count accuracy, and heart rate measurement during training and during rest timing. It has optimizations for music playback in different scenarios and lastly, it will optimize the display quality of your Huawei Watch GT 3.

How to update:

If you want to download this software update then visit the Huawei Health app, tap on the device, then tap on CHECK FOR UPDATES, and follow the on-screen guidance on this matter.

However, there are a few things that you should know before you jump on to the updates section, first you need to update your Huawei Health app to the latest version via Huawei AppGallery. Second, keep the distance between the watch and the phone, so the distance won’t interrupt the installation procedure.

One more thing to mention here is that the entire package transferring process may take some time. Therefore, it’s recommended for you to wait while the phone shifts update package to the watch.
