Huawei is sending the first firmware update for the Watch GT Runner smartwatch available in the global market. However, the Chinese counter of this watch has already grabbed this update earlier.

The first update of Huawei Watch GT Runner landed on the ground with HarmonyOS firmware version 2.1.0.219 (C00M02) and weighs around 61.30 Megabytes.
According to the changelog, we have found that this update brings support for replying to third-party applications such as WeChat. Further, it includes the improvements for the Huawei Music listening experience and system stability to increase user experience.

How to update:
To update the Huawei Watch GT Runner, open the Huawei Health app, go to the connected device section in the app, select your device and proceed towards the update section. Now, follow the on-screen instructions to install the update.
Before you start the update process, read these points carefully. Make sure that the Bluetooth connection won’t be disconnected during the update process. If the update fails, try again, or can also share your issues with the Huawei customer service executive through the hotline.
