Huawei is currently busy with its new HarmonyOS 2.0 public beta rollouts. The company has released the first batch of HarmonyOS 2.0 beta for 18 devices. Meanwhile, the Chinese OEM is also taking care of its old smartphones.

According to the information, Huawei has released a new software update for its three-year-old Y5 Lite which is currently running on EMUI 8. Despite any new features or major upgrades, the new firmware just brings some optimization for the proper functioning of the device.

Users can identify this update with EMUI 8.0 version 1.0.0.150 (C185) and carries an update size of around 120MB. Other than this, the changelog does not specify much about this software update.
