Apple has released iOS 13.7 software update for its iPhones. Also, after upgrading to iOS 13.7, users cannot rollback to the previous iOS version 13.6.1. Since Apple has stopped signing the previous version, the company seems to be making sure that every iPhone user gets the latest and stable system improvements.

iOS 13.7 update lets users enable the COVID-19 Exposure Notification feature directly from Settings. Once enabled, your iPhone will begin monitoring possible exposures using Bluetooth, so you can stay updated with your surrounding COVID-19 exposure.

iOS 13.7 Changelog:

iOS 13.7 lets you opt into the COVID-19 Exposure Notification System without the need to download an app. System availability depends upon support from your local public health authority. This release also fixes other bug fixes for your iPhone.

Before you update:

  • Some features may not be available in all the regions or on all Apple devices.
  • You can download the update after connecting your device to a WiFi network.
  • The battery level must be sufficient or plug-in iPhone during the upgrade.

How to install update on iPhone:

  1. Go to Settings
  2. General
  3. Tap Software update
  4. Tap install
  5. Install Passcode
