Apple iOS 17 beta adds new Shortcuts for specific camera modes

Apple keeps on introducing new features with the iOS 17 beta builds and the latest one is Shortcuts for some specific camera modes. Eventually, the upcoming software upgrade will enable iPhone users to quickly access their favorite optical actions without running into the camera app.

Noted by the Apple observer Mattew Cassinelli, Apple iOS 17 beta 4 adds new Shortcuts for particular camera modes. It further brings a new “Open Camera” action that let users pick between several camera modes and use any preset instantly.

Ahead, the information reveals that there are nine different modes present in the iOS 17 camera app. These are as follows:

  • Phone, Selfie, Video, Portrait, Portrait Selfie, Cinematic, Slo-Mo, Time-Lapse, and Pano

Pay attention, the availability of these camera modes varies depending on the iPhone model you have. The new change has appeared in the beta version. Hence, it would be worth seeing whether it arrives with a stable release.
