Apple releases third developer beta of iOS 14.5 and iPadOS 14.5

Apple has recently rolled out the third beta of iOS 14.5 and iPadOS 14.5 update to developers for testing purposes. This update came almost after two weeks of the second beta that brings some more features to the iPhone and iPad for testing purposes.

With iOS 14.5 update, Apple has also introduced a new feature using which the users will be able to unlock their iPhones even while wearing a face mask. While the previous second beta was released with some new accessibility features, such as CarPlay, Display optimizations, Maps, Privacy, and more. In a queue, with some more updates company has rolled out its third developers beta.

The iOS 14.5 developers beta 3 brings some new features for Music, Podcast, Audiobook requests, and updated dialogs for the app selection is also now available. It also solves the issues that were previously reported on the iPad Pro 12.9 inch and iPad Pro 11-inch. These iPads will now be able to connect to any external display using the USB Type-C Digital AV Multiport Adapter.

The developers can install this latest beta update after installing a proper profile from the Apple developer center on the eligible iPhone or iPad. The iOS and iPadOS 14.5 is expected to be released in the spring which is sometime after March 20, 2021.
