Apple to release another iOS security patch to fix the Safari bug

Apple has recently rolled out iOS 16.5.1 (a) and macOS 13.4.1 (a) updates which resulted in a critical web browser bug. As of now, the manufacturer is planning to push off a new security patch for Apple devices with the fix for the Safari issue.

Consequently, Apple shared a new blog on its official support page and said that the company is working on the fix of the Safari bug that came along with the latest security patch and prevented some websites from displaying properly.

In addition, the tech giant mentioned that it will soon begin rolling out iOS 16.5.1 (b), iPadOS 16.5.1 (b), and macOS 13.4.1 (b) patches for its devices. Till then, iPhone, iPad, and Mac users can follow the below-given steps to get rid of the issue temporarily.

iPhone or iPad: Open Settings > About > iOS Version, then tap “Remove Security Response”. Tap Remove to confirm.

Mac: Choose the Apple menu > About this Mac, then click More Info. Under macOS, click the Info button next to the version number. Click Remove and Restart, then click to confirm.
