Honor is releasing a new HarmonyOS software update that installs the January 2022 security patch for Honor 30S users, this smartphone was initially packed with Magic UI 3.1 and currently performing very well with HarmonyOS 2.0 software system.
The latest Honor 30S smartphone’s January 2022 update comes with the HarmonyOS firmware version 2.0.0.220 updated from 2.0.0.218. As you know, the update may take some to reach all users. So, wait patiently to get an update on your device.
According to the changelog, January 2022 security improvements bring fixes for a massive count of 130 CVEs found in the latest HarmonyOS software system for better system security.

Users of Honor 30S smartphone can download this update manually by visiting settings, then click on system & update, tap on check for updates, and wait for a while.
Moreover, you can also download the update through the My Huawei app, open the My Huawei app, go to the update section, and follow the on-screen instructions.
Before updating, make sure that the phone should charge at least 30% or above. Also, it has enough storage to download the package as well as use a stable network connection.
