July 2020 security update for Huawei P40 series brings AI touch improvements

Latest software update starts rolling out for the Huawei P40 series – Huawei P40, P40 Pro, and P40 Pro Plus in China. It brings the July 2020 security patch and also improves the user experience with AI Touch in certain situations. (Via Huawei Central)

The July 2020 security update installs Android patches from Huawei and Google, fixing different levels of exploits and issues within Huawei phones including 5 critical and 9 high levels of CVEs. There is no Medium and Low level of CVEs found.

SOFTWARE INFORMATION:

Huawei P40 series comes with EMUI 10.1.0.150 (SP1C00E150R3P7) and users will have to download around 740MB software package to install this update.

Important: Software version, size, and rollout availability could be different in different countries.
