Xiaomi is rolling out the refinements of the July 2023 Android security patch for the Redmi A2 and A2+ devices in India. The latest firmware was earlier released in the Global region. Consequently, the company will not take much time to expand the reach of the latest patch to more users around the world.
According to the information, the owners of Redmi A2 and A2+ will be able to determine the July 2023 security patch via the MIUI version V14.0.7.0.TGOINXM and need to download a 1.4GB package in India. This new patch will improve the core mechanism of the system and enhance the safety grades for better and more adequate performance.
In addition, it will also optimize the operations of some applications, so that consumers can operate their devices more adequately. To download the update, open the Settings app and tap on the About Phone menu. Here, click on System Updates and press the MIUI version. Once done, hit the Download button and Install the update.
