The new firmware on Watch Fit can be identified with the software version 1.0.5.12 in China. It brings a new lock screen password function, which enables users to set up a lock on their watch maintaining complete privacy.

Users can now try different watch faces after this update, a new SMS reply function is also added with declining calls. Further, it brings optimizations for voice assistants for a better user experience. There are few things that you should take care of before updating your Watch Fit to the new version. These are:
- Your Watch must have a battery of at least 20% and it will take around 20 minutes to update. Make sure your Bluetooth connection stable while you update.
- Android and iOS users must have the latest version of the Huawei Health app installed.
