Back in September 2019, Oppo launched two new smartphones in its A-series- Oppo A5 and A9 2020. These smartphones come with a 6.5-inch display, powered by Snapdragon 665 chipset, quad-camera setup, 5000mAh battery, and more.
Both the smartphones come pre-installed with ColorOS 6.0.1 based on Android 9. Previously, the company has released a stable Android 11-based ColorOS 11 update for the Oppo A9 2020.
Now, as per the latest information, Oppo is rolling out a new software update for Oppo A5 and A9 2020. This update mainly brings the security patch released in March 2021 that enhances the system security of the device as well as enhances system performance.

Apart from this, the company is also rolling out the features of the latest Android 11 for its couple of eligible devices with the ColorOS 11. And many others are also joining the beta program, the company has also released the roadmap for the rollout of the ColorOS 11 along with the time period.
