March 2022 HarmonyOS security patch released for Honor 20S

Huawei rolling out March 2022 software security for the Honor 20S smartphone in China. This update brings important improvements to the device’s HarmonyOS 2.0 operating system and enhances the overall usability with new enhancements.

The latest Honor 20S update mainly focuses on March HarmonyOS security update, which has important security patches to safe keep the user’s data. Unlike top devices, the update doesn’t have to do anything with new features for the system.

Honor 20S with model YAL-Al50 can download the March 2022 security HarmonyOS update with version 2.0.0.224 upgrading from HarmonyOS 2.0.0.220. Furthermore, this update is only rolling out for the consumers in China and is rolling out for the Chiens models.

The corresponding consumers can download the March 2022 update via visiting Settings > then Systme & updates > then tap on Software update and follow the on-screen instructions to get this update installed on your smartphone.

However, there’s another way to get this update loaded on your Honor 20S smartphone, by opening the My Huawei App and then selecting the update section then hitting the on-screen options for more information.

We recommend users make a backup before upgrading to the latest HarmonyOS version. Still, a sufficient charging level and waiting time is a must to be ingredient for this entire upgrade process.
