Xiaomi is rolling out a new update for the Xiaomi 12 Pro Dimensity Edition smartphones, which brings the latest May 2023 firmware with some system optimizations and bug fixes. However, the update is currently available in China and will expand to more in the coming days.
The May 2023 firmware for Xiaomi 12 Pro Dimensity Edition is released with the build version V14.0.8.0.TLGCNXM. It also carries a giant software package that weighs up to 7.5GB. Hence, the corresponding device owners must opt for a stable Wi-Fi connection over regular mobile data.
The Xiaomi 12 Pro Dimensity is an excellent smartphone with superior build quality. The device features a 6.73 inches AMOLED LTPO2 display, powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9000+ processor the phone comes with a triple rear camera setup with a 50 MP main, 13 MP ultrawide, and 5 MP sensor.

However, the update is rolling out through OTA (over-the-air) method in China. Thus, it may take some time to cover all the eligible units in the country. If you don’t want to wait, then go with the manual installation process through Settings > About Phone > System Updates > Download & Install.
