After getting available for various devices, the improvements and fixes of the May 2023 security patch are now live for the Xiaomi 11i devices. The owners of the corresponding model are currently enjoying the features and optimizations of the Android 13-based MIUI 14 software update.
As per the input, this latest May 2o23 security patch will let the owners of Xiaomi 11i perform their tasks more appropriately alongwith boosted performance. Simultaneously, the patch will further offer improved protection against harmful threats, viruses, and safety-related vulnerabilities.
It also provides increased security for the system, ensuring that confidential data and sensitive information remain safe and secure. Additionally, the patch helps to fix some known bugs and glitches that may have been discovered in the system, reducing the risk of system crashes and data loss.
Other than these common advancements, there are no new features or major changes noticed in the changelog. Accordingly, the update is currently rolling out in India and the owners of the Xiaomi Mi 11i will be able to identify it via the MIUI build version V.14.0.3.0.TKTINXM and a 209MB package size.
However, the company will expand the reach of the software outside India in the coming days. Also, it’s an initial rollout and will take some time to cover all the units. In case you don’t want to wait for the OTA, then proceed with the manual process through Settings > About Phone > System Update > MIUI Version > Download & Install.
