Samsung is extending the reach of the May 2023 security update for the remaining Galaxy owners and the Galaxy Tab S7 series is the latest to obtain these improvements. Meanwhile, the Galaxy Tab S8 lineup and the Galaxy Tab S6 Lite device owners have already collected the patch in some markets.
Going towards the details, the May 2023 security update is rolling out for the Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 and Tab S7 Plus devices with One UI build version Tx76BXXU3DWD3. This new firmware will enhance the security and reliability of the gadgets and make them more safe and secure as compared to the previous version.
It further aims to resolve some common bugs and glitches in the internal system that could result in unusual lags and buffers of the big screen devices and protects them against malicious threats, viruses, and other dangerous vulnerabilities including 4 critical, 02 high, and 50 moderate levels of CVEs and 21 SVEs.
In addition, it will also improve the performance grade of the device and users will also be able to enjoy the features of latets software more seamlessly, which will result in an uplifted user experience. Other than this the changelog of the update didn’t mention any new feature, but we suggest upgrading the device for a boosted interpretation.
Moving further, the update is currently rolling out in some European countries including Greece, Switzerland, Bulgaria, Germany, the UK, and Austria. However, the market users will also collect the patch in the coming days or weeks. Thus, users can install the update manually through Settings > Software Update > Download & Install.
