Posted on

Microsoft has released a planned update to its proprietary Windows 10 operating system. Update numbered Windows 10 KB5003214 is available for users of Windows 10 versions 21H1 (May 2021 update), 20H2 (October 2020 update), and 2004 (May 2020 update) via Windows Update (Windows Update).

It is called the non-security cumulative preview update and is not automatically installed, the user must activate the installation himself. Subsequently, all changes to this update will become part of the automatic June update – the traditional monthly Patch Tuesday.

Changes The update brings quite important changes. In particular, a personalized news feed is activated for everyone on the taskbar with the News and Interests widget, which until now has been spreading very slowly.

It also fixes an annoying issue with the Microsoft Your Phone app that prevented users from launching Android apps pinned to the taskbar.

Also, problems with the operation of touch devices, “frozen” elements on the desktop, which the user deleted from there, were eliminated, problems with video playback when switching to the built-in display without HDR, as well as problems with sound and Bluetooth, were solved. And this is not a complete list.
